Busy Weekend...

We had a very busy but good weekend. Saturday Alycia (my niece), Landrie and I all went and ran some errands, went to lunch and then to the mall. Landrie adores Alycia and thinks she is her personal playmate from the time she gets there until the time she leaves. Poor Alycia but she is so good to her. I am sure she has other things she would rather do than play with a 2 year old, she is 15. lol But she plays whatever Landrie wants to play and does whatever Landrie tells her to do and I must admit it does give us all a nice break for a little while when she entertains her. On Sunday I was supposed to do a photo shoot but one of the little boy's came down with a bad case of pink eye, poor thing. But we rescheduled for the end of the month. Yesterday was Paw Paw's birthday as well so we ran and go him a gift and then went to their house to celebrate. We had a nice lunch and had a nice relaxing visit. Just wish it wasn't so cool this weekend. But that's Texas for you. Then as soon as we got back from Cory's parents there was a voicemail from our neighbor that they were going to celebrate their son's birthday at 6, it was 5:15, lol. They are very last minute about everything, but we love them anyway, makes for some fun times and laughs. So I raced up to Walmart and got him the rest of his gift, I had actually bought some of it last week when I was out. But we went down there and had pizza and cupcakes and the kids all ran around and played. I didn't take a SINGLE picture this weekend which actually was nice I must say. It's nice to take a break every once in a while. The pictures I am posting are from last Monday. Cory's parents got Landrie a bug house last weekend so they are pictures of her playing with it and some of the dogs as well. lol Oh the funny thing, Cory's parents got her a bug house and my dad got Landrie a pink fly swatter. lol We know the fly swatter will get used more, she HATES bugs just likes to look at them from a distance. But she does love to play with the bug house she just doesn't put bugs in it. lol
